Who We Are

The Old Mill started its life in 1813 as a Paper Mill. It later became a joint Corn Mill and Paper Mill until 1890 when its business was transferred to a nearby village. From 1890 the building has had a range of uses, latterly as a pub, but in 2000 it was acquired by Key Inns Ltd, a family-run business with a mission to provide guests and residents with Food, Drink and Accommodation of the highest quality in meticulously-designed premises.

Dining with us

Here at The Old Mill we strive to provide great quality home cooked food alongside our warm welcoming service, where most of our guests see us more as friends! We love to give a personal service to make everyone feel at home! Whilst our restaurant is large, it is separated into smaller areas to give a comfortable dining experience.

A WARM WELCOMING COUNTRY PUB & HOTEL

The Old Mill has 12 En-suite rooms, all of which are recently refurbished to a high standard.

Word Of Our Customers

Very nice large room and bathroom. Sparce but enough for our one night. Room was warm. Bed comfy and king. Breakfast very good and fried bread which is always a plus. It was extremely busy with Sunday lunches when we arrived. All the amenities. My downside was two steep sets of stairs.

Stayed for two nights with six members of family and a baby, rooms were clean and comfortable. Other members of our family joined us over two nights for food and drinks, every meal was hot and tasty and the staff were exceptional. I personally love Real Ales, there was a choice of three, every one was superb.

Absolutely loved The Old Mill and would highly recommend it. Our room was lovely, well laid out and beautifully presented, The staff were super friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice available.
